Macaroni and Cheese
May 14th, 2007
Mac and cheese was one of my childhood staples, as it is for many. I really only liked Kraft…and I preferred the spiral shaped macaroni to the elbow. Sometimes we’d have it with fish sticks and corn. That was always a good day!
Anyway, recently, I stumbled on this page: Generic Cheese and Macaroni Gallery.
It has pictures of generic mac and cheese boxes. Something is very entertaining and amusing about it!
Generic boxes of children’s cereal are pretty funny, too. Usually they try to get the box look as close to its name-brand counterpart as possible, with a different kind of personified, manic animal on the box. Maybe I should do a gallery of those!

Hey Krissy,
I hear ya on the mac and cheese front. I liked stouffers mac and cheese too. :) my family was big into the fish stick thing too…fish sticks are an odd “food,” eh? They’re totally weird are krispy on the outside and then sometimes you got some “icky” fish on the inside…you could never tell when you took a bite.
as much as i didn’t mind fish sticks as a kid, i think i’ll pass now. :)

I still like Stouffer’s mac and cheese! Yum!
I’m partial to Cabot’s mac and cheese though, if we’re talking restaurant mac & cheese. So yum.
My favorite pre-made mac and cheese is Amy’s (from Whole Foods)!! I love it so. :)
I love that too. Especially in the oven when it gets nice and bubbly!
