Dead Pigeons
For the past two weeks, Matt and I have noticed these three dead pigeons essentially “attached” to a chain-link fence separating the YMCA and the Pike. Thanks to the condition of rigor mortis, they look artifical and frozen. Each time I see them, I get the heebie-jeebies. They’ve been there for TWO WEEKS and I fear that soon they’re going to start rotting and decaying. And as you know, nothing freaks me out more than a dead, decaying bird. :-(
I wonder whose property that is; the YMCA or the city of Newton? Birds seriously frighten me like you could NOT imagine, with the exception of parakeets and other cute little birds — but only in photographs or cages. Pigeons freak me out because they’re kind of gross.

That must be a really grim sight every time you go for a workout! We has a few bird nesting on our porch last spring - far from being cute and fuzzy the offspring looked like Satan’s spawn! They had creepy long necks! Icky!
[...] Matt LIED! Those were NOT dead pigeons! Matt lied and made me look like a fool on the internet! My post about the dead pigeons was even quoted on UniversalHub! [...]
