Catloaves
The definition of a catloaf is as follows:
Catloaf (n): when a cat sits with all four paws tucked under the body, thus resembling a loaf of bread.
A simple Google Image search will bring up the following:

And by far the most disturbing:

Aerogarden so far
The cilantro is the only one that hasn’t come up so far, but everything else seems to be doing well. Only a few more weeks until we can start harvesting! Mmm, basil!!!

I’m playing around with themes. I’ve had the same theme on my blog since 2005! This octopus one is pretty silly, but I think I’ll keep it for now!

After blogging here for three years, I’ve finally upgraded Wordpress. Well, actually, my dad did! So I’m hoping that I can download some plugins to combat the spam problem I’m having.
The graphic I had at the top disappeared, so I need to put that back. Ooh, and now tagging things with new tags will be easier, so I’m going to go back and tag some old entries.

After realizing that many of my spring and summer clothes are in bad condition, I trucked on down to the Arsenal Mall to buy a few articles of clothing. I made out like a bandit at the Gap Outlet, and I noticed they opened up a Wet Seal next door.
I used to shop at Wet Seal as a teenager, back when the location I went to was still called Contempo Casuals. I feel a little like an old lady when I go in there, but, man, they’ve got some good bargains! $5 t-shirts! At first I was going to buy the t-shirts without trying them on — that would have been a huge mistake!
When I buy shirts at the Gap Outlet, I always need a size small, or sometimes even an extra small. But when I tried on the size small t-shirts from West Seal I couldn’t even get the shirt over my head! It was awful! The head-holes weren’t big enough to accommodate my big ol’ head.
I DO have a big head, but I don’t think it’s that big. I would have needed to get my head shrunken like those skulls at Ripley’s Believe it or Not to fit into these shirts!

I think I’m also losing a little bit of love for Filene’s Basement. Nothing I liked came in my size. SIGH! And Marshall’s was a disorganized mess, as usual.

I haven’t seen Iron Man, but I’ve suddenly noticed that Robert Downey Jr. is all over the place. Is it just me, or is Robert Downey Jr. starting to resemble beloved children’s singer, Raffi?

C is for Cookies in 100 calorie snack packs

I’m pretty much obsessed with “100 calorie snack packs”…before the advent of the glorious invention of those snack packs, I couldn’t keep anything like cookies around the house because I would sit there and chow down like Cookie Monster.
And so, I have begun an ongoing project, where I am reviewing 100 calorie snack packs: 100 Calorie Treat Review Page.
So now I can be a Cookie Monster with an understanding of portion control. :-)

My score: 5. I’m particularly guilty of the cold feet thing. I don’t wear “hose”, but if I did, it’s likely the seams would be crooked so my score would probably be a 4.
Boy, oh boy am I glad Matt didn’t see this checklist prior to marrying me! He sure would have changed his mind then.
