Happy New Year!

Happy 2008!

I am tired. We left for NY on December 23. We were in Princeton, NJ, Queens, Long Island, and Upstate New York. We got home on December 29th. Carbin had a gig in Boston that night. The following morning we went up to Portland, ME to spend the 30th and 31st with friends. Had a very nice time!

We’re home for now. Well, until the 11th when we head up to New Hampshire for our pre-mini-honeymoon. (Our honeymoon will be in Bermuda in June)

Many people get the post-holiday blues after January 1, but I actually love January and February. I find it to be the perfect time to unwind after the holidays. The weather is cold, the days are still short, and it’s a great opportunity and excuse to TAKE IT EASY!

So enjoy the two take-it-easy months, because come March, it’s time to start thinking about taxes.
