Sick and BORED!

January 4th, 2006

Stuck in bed with tonsillitis. So so bored. Went home sick from work around 2. Ate soup. It hurt my throat. Ate ice cream. Also hurt my throat. Watched Degrassi Junior High DVDs I got from Matt for Christmas. Slept. Had weird dreams. Woke up feeling worse. Crawled up to my bed with the laptop to find some entertainment online.

Caught up on blogs. Caught up on news. Surfed the internet. Looked up tonsillitis on Google images. Promptly felt worse after seeing those pictures. They were disgusting. Wasted much time on MySpace. Thought about my New Year’s Resolution (joining the YMCA).

Then I decided I wanted to blog. But what to write about? I thought about writing about restaurants, but I have absolutely no appetite or desire to think about food…so I immediately nixed that. I perused UniversalHub for some inspiration but found none. I poked around through my RSS feeds list on Bloglines but found nothing that I could link to or write about.

Yet, I felt this nagging obligation to blog. Crazy, ain’t it? Well, I don’t want to leave you guys cold so perhaps I shall put something of interest here.
