Happy (Snowy) New Year!

I didn’t know there was snow in the forecast, but I am glad there was. I found it to be a wonderful way for us to ring in the New Year.

We took it easy this New Year’s (a big change from how we went to Vegas for New Year’s two years ago!!), and ate spaghetti and played Scrabble on my new Scrabble Deluxe. I was so excited to see it snowing outside!

I think snow makes everything pretty! An otherwise gloomy day, which could be made even gloomier by rain, is made more cheerful when it snows. I love the way branches look when snow is on them.

It also makes me feel more warm and cozy to be inside! I think it does the same for my cat, too, who is all sprawled out on the radiator right now. Oh, yikes. He just rolled over and fell off the radiator. :-|

There’s only a few inches of snow right now, but I think I might put on my snow pants and jacket and make a snowman! :-)
